About Us

Sapphyre Media, LLC is the materialization of a dream of its owner and founder, Kimberlie Van Petten. It has its humble beginnings dating back to 2008 when Kimberlie, a mother of three, imagined combining the managing her children's extra curricular activities with helping her children achieve their dreams; so she decided to create a professional talent management company. Starting with her children, she decided she wanted to not just manage their calendars but manage their lives and create a strategy and structure designed to help them all achieve their respective career goals. 

Over the next ten years, Kimberlie worked on developing her management skills by studying the strategies of other successful talent management companies. She took some calculated risks in order to expose her talent to as many opportunities as possible. Some of the risks paid off, and some of them just provided experiences that make great stories. Over the years she’s developed a network of contacts including agents, casting directors, production managers, stylists, acting coaches, modeling coaches, athletic coaches and scouts and photographers. In 2018, Kimberlie redefined her role as a talent manager and expanded her roster to include non family members. In this newly-defined role, she made a conscious decision to treat each one of her talents with all the same enthusiasm and dedication as if they were one of her children and redefined her boutique-style management company. Sapphyre Media is the best fit for those who need personal attention so that the strategy to advance in their choice of careers can be managed by someone who truly cares about them and their dreams.

It was this conscious action that led to Sapphyre Media’s mission statement: “To help guide and direct the pathway of each individual to best achieve their desired career goals.”. 

In 2020, Sapphyre Media welcomed fresh new talent, new opportunities, new growth and new successes. We will continue to strive to seek out other talent managers who can adopt our management philosophy to advance the careers of their talent regardless of the talent’s industry. We’re looking forward to continuing to expand our roster in as many areas as we can comfortably support without compromising our mission statement, work ethic, and professional integrity. We have renovated and reinvented ourselves and we’re excited to look at the world from a fresh perspective.
